Last week theCHIVE announced that 15 colleges across the United States would have a chance to win a happy hour and an exclusive screening of The Brothers Grimsby. Chive Nation sprung into action with over 23,000 social hashtags to bring Sacha Baron Cohen and theCHIVE crew to their cities. Two cities quickly sprinted out in front and steadily added to their lead.
Minneapolis and San Diego are going head to head on Twitter and Instagram. Votes have been reset to 0 for both cities. From now until the end of Sunday the 28th use the two hashtags below to secure the win!
For Minneapolis, MN share #GrimsbyMinneapolis – University of Minnesota
For San Diego, CA share #GrimsbySanDiego – San Diego State/UCSD
To vote for your City, post on Twitter or Instagram, using your City’s hashtag, as many times as you like. Each vote will count towards the total number of votes for your City. The 2 Cities with the most votes will advance to a Final Round, where the votes will be reset to zero. The City with the higher amount of new votes in the Final Round will be declared the winner, and individuals in that City, whether or not they submitted a vote, will be eligible to purchase separate tickets to a one-time happy hour and screening of the movie “The Brothers Grimsby,” at a location in that City. Submitting a vote does not automatically permit or qualify any individual to attend the happy hour or movie screening. Individuals, including voters and non-voters, may only attend the happy hour and movie screening by purchasing a separate ticket to the happy hour and movie screening.
