Just when you think the Pokemon Go craze has come and gone, you find yourself going to the park for a little piece and quiet and you’re surrounded by people and their phones, running frantically to catch a Pidgey or Pikachu or whatever the hell else they’re called. Looks like it’s no where near being over.
Pokemon hunters are still so prevalent in Toronto (and the rest of Canada, since we got the game so late and we’re just trying to catch up to the world) that it inspired a Toronto-based artist to release a comic called Rare Pokemon in Toronto.
The artist, Jennifer Herd, introduces some pretty iconic Toronto symbols into the Pokemon Go game, and imagines what their strengths and weaknesses would be. As a Torontonian, she hits the nail on the head, especially the Pokemon Go Hater.
