The adorable dog is actually a service-dog-in-training named Yahoo that lives with his volunteer trainer in San Marcos, California. He’s going through basic obedience and socialization training before he can move on to professional training, and this was part of the day’s lesson.
He’s part of Canine Companions for Independence, a nonprofit organization that gives service dogs to people with disabilities at no cost.

By February of next year Yahoo should be able to “open a door, turn on a light switch, and pull a wheelchair,” Yahoo’s volunteer explained.
