After sending photos of her beautiful son Asher to a local modeling agency, Megan Nash was met with disappointment. The owner of the agency told Megan that their company “didn’t specify special needs” and that her son’s photos would not be sent off to any companies. While they pledged to get special needs children involved in the future, Megan wasn’t satisfied.
She knew she had to do something so that people with disabilities or who look different would be represented in a better light. “My first thought was how in the world does she know they don’t want a child with a disability if they haven’t even seen his picture?”
