The sonar works from up to 40 feet away and the drone itself can dive to depths of 30 meters. If you use the WiFi connection, information can be broadcast up to 70 meters back to your iOS or Android device. You can even set up alerts on your smart phone to let you know when river monsters are in the area.
While the PowerRay won’t appeal to the traditionalist or those who prefer to fish by dynamite, it could bring new popularity to the past-time which is great for the companies even the most traditional of fishing enthusiasts adore.
