Wasted food & trash is a massive problem around the globe. But thanks to the developers over at Whirlpool’s WLabs, there is now a new household product that turns today’s scraps into tomorrow’s fertilizer. The innovative product is called the ‘Zera Food Recycler’ and within 24 hours this new product is capable of breaking down your leftover garbage and transforming it into something useful. The product was presented at CES 2017 and is now available for pre-orders via indiegogo.
The product has a minimalistic design, made to fit conveniently within any kitchen, and with a simple push of a button converts household food waste into homemade fertilizer by using a combination of oxygen, moisture, heat and mixing to expedite the decomposition process.
