Believe it or not, this isn’t the first study of its kind. Apps for Apes was a program run by US and Canadian zoos a few years ago. That study allowed the Orangutans to view videos of themselves on iPads and finger paint. This study encountered one problem that has carried over though, the electronics simply aren’t strong enough to withstand the primates.
Sambodja was provided with a special steel reinforced iPad. She still destroyed it. It was probably all the d*ck pics.
The next step for scientists is to find a touchscreen that can withstand the onslaught of thirsty apes.
At least there is no need to send nudes…
