Special Forcers Operator and UFC fighter Tim ‘TKO’ Kennedy weighed in. He wanted a chance to take down Marchman in the Octagon–a venue he has dominated for a living.
“I’m your Huckleberry.”
The proposed Kennedy-Marchman fight picked up steam when Kennedy appeared on The Glenn Beck Show. Amidst their conversation, Beck had this to say:
“We’ll cover it. It will make it an event, we’ll make it pay per view. Every dime will go right to the charity, so who knows how much you could make? So I want everybody to tweet to Deadspin today and Tim Marchman. Let him know that his charity could be very, very wealthy if he just wants to complete what he started with his mouth. If he’d just like to cash the check that his mouth just wrote.”
Kennedy wanted to sweeten the pot further. “I’ll match yours, Glenn. That’s coming from me, Tim Kennedy, as a person supporting this cause as well.” Kennedy said that his $50,000 would be going to a military law enforcement cause.
Beck responded, “So wait, wait, wait, I’m offering 50,000. You’re offering 50,000 as well?”
Suddenly a fight to raise money for charity began to form, with $100,000 already being pledged.
