First, I’d like to take a minute to say that I’m very proud that theCHIVE supports so many good people and their families. Given the grim climate for publishers in America, we are the only media company who continues to grow and thrive. A big thank you to our community for that was well. While the rest of the publishing world is firing, we continue to hire. As a job creator, I’m proud of that.
theCHIVE was recently named the Kindest Business in the World. The romantic in me likes to think we might also be the drunkest. Now I’d like to give an opportunity to four motivated people who would like to join the happiest website on the internet. Descriptions below:
Resignation Media is looking for two high-performing, experienced sales executives (title based on experience) to lead branded partnerships within major agencies and clients – one in Chicago and one in NYC. This position requires individuals with a passion for content-driven advertising, as the primary focus will be maintaining and growing brand sales partnerships for our Fortune 500 clients.
Successful candidates are excited about our content, comfortable in a dynamic startup environment, and will bring energy and passion to everything they do. This position will collaborate with Account Management, Brand Strategy and our content teams, all with the goal of elevating content on theCHIVE through ad partnerships while always maintaining our user-first philosophy. Candidates must have 3+ years of successfully selling digital programs to both agencies and clients directly. If you only have 2 years, and can outdrink Mac, you will also be considered. Learn more about the opportunity and contact us here.
We are also looking for two Brand Strategy Managers in Los Angeles in NY. These are creative positions as much as they are sales, so if you are devoid of creativity, we’ll let you know when the accounting positions open up.
As a Brand Manager, you will conjure creative ideas that fit within our ecosystem and advertising brands, pitch the ideas within client facing decks, and develop cohesive programs from those ideas that can be packaged together. Not just a one off idea, but a complete program that drives the deal size up. I’m not gonna lie, these two positions are super fucking sweet. You get to work with Drew Murray everyday, who is the 2nd biggest idiot at the office, and shepherd your ideas from start to finish.
You must have previous experience and you can learn more about the position here.
