For most people failing your driver’s test even just once can be traumatizing. Usually you’ll study a little more and head back for another go in hopes you do better the second time.
Well a UK man named Christian Whiteley-Mason is 42 years old and it’s taken him 33 attempts, 14 different instructors, 85 lessons and 25 years to pass his driving test. This is not an exaggeration. He took his first test in 1992 and back then it was a little easier without the written theory part of the driving exam (it’s a UK thing).
He told Mirror, “I had 56 lessons with my first instructor and eventually he told me to just give up as I would never pass.”
