In 1984, a woman named Dolly Young was riding the Matterhorn without her seat belt on. About two-thirds of the way into the ride, she was thrown out of her sled seat, right into the path of the next sled. She was pinned under the wheels, and was killed. Now, each night when employees do their routine end-of-night walk of the rides tracks, they report feeling unusually cold, or like they’re being watched. Some have said they’ve heard a spooky female voice, thought to be Dolly’s.
