One April evening in 2012, two-year-old Samaria was snuggling with her parents in bed, when she suddenly vomited and went unresponsive. She was in a constant state of seizure, and only the strongest, most dangerous medication would eventually stabilize her.
Doctors told her terrified parents their little girl had several very serious brain disorders, including polymicrogyria and intractable epilepsy. But Mia is stubborn, and is turning her struggles into a way to help other sick kids. Chive Charities is honored to provide a grant for Mia’s new service dog, we’d love YOU to be part of the team making dreams like Mia’s come true. Get started RIGHT HERE.
