Ever wondered what it looks like to fly through the eye of a hurricane? (Video)

The video, filmed from inside a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration plane, shows strong winds hitting the aircraft as it flies into the eye of hurricane Irma. It was filmed by aerospace engineer Nick Underwood aboard the NOAA’s WP-3D Orion, nicknamed Kermit, somewhere over the Atlantic near the Leeward Islands in the West Indies on September 5.
