The Delta Force Trilogy
I might get some heat for this, but Chuck Norris’ films aren’t very good. He’s an icon, a meme and a great martial artist, but he’s over-hyped and not a very good actor. His films are great for a drunk watch at 3am, but I wouldn’t seek out any of his flicks for their cinematic value.
The best example is this trilogy. The first one is alright, as long as you keep your expectations moderately low. The second – Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection is literally a remake of Norris’ Missing in Action, and share’s no narrative continuity with the first one. The third is a B-movie that doesn’t even have Norris in it, but does star his son, Mike.
You could probably skip these and not lose any sleep. If cheesy wartime action is what you’re looking for, go watch the Rambo films.
