Remember that weird mid-’90s fad where kids collected colorful milk caps called Pogs? Well, some of them are worth a TON of money now (if you’re lucky enough to have the complete set).
There was also a game where competitors would each build a stack of Pogs and take turns dropping a heavier, metal Pog called a ‘Slammer’, causing the stacks to scatter. Any that landed face up now belonged to the dropper, which made for some high stakes gambling in the schoolyard.
Today, over 20 years since Pogs were popular, it turns out third-grade-you may have gambled away (or taken home) a lot more than some cardboard chips. Call your parents to make sure they didn’t throw away the case of these bad boys you left sitting under your childhood bed — then scroll through to see if you’ve got a winner.
