Back during the promotion of ‘I Love You, Man,’ this interview happened. It was a wonderful train wreck.
A couple months ago, our good friends over at Simple Pickup sent us a video for breast cancer awareness month. They had a great concept, for every ‘motorboat’ they got, they would donate $20 to a breast cancer charity. In the end, they wound up with a little over $7,000 (I’m no mathematician, but that’s a lot of motorboats).
The only problem was, the charity they planned to donate to wouldn’t take their money. They thought the material was questionable, and even though over 40,000 women die from breast cancer each year, they wouldn’t accept money from a silly concept (not cool).
What was cool is the guys from Simple Pickup flew 2,000 miles directly to a woman suffering from breast cancer, and what happened next was truly touching…
