And of course it’s a revised version of Space Oddity. Performed by Commander Chris Hadfield, who runs what has to be the coolest Twitter account in the universe.
Commander Hadfield is coming home tomorrow, so I’d just like to say thanks on behalf of all of us who have enjoyed watching his videos while he’s been hurtling around the planet. Welcome home, Commander.
I love when celebs are unpredictable. Well played, Hayley.
Zach Sobiech is 17 years old and diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer that takes the lives of a large percent of its childhood victims. Given only months to live, Zach turned to music to say goodbye. His song “Clouds” spread, and soon, Zach’s message was heard across the country until eventually a slew of celebrities wanted to sing the song in honor of him.
To see Zach sing “Clouds” in its original form click HERE. It’s worth it, BTW.
Hawaiian huntress Kimi Werner was swimming one day when she crossed paths with a wild great white shark. Without a cage to protect her, she swam towards the shark. If that doesn’t inspire you to do just about anything today I don’t know what will.
If you dig this, check out more from one of the funniest men on YouTube, ZeFrank.
They shot the entire film on location in Chile, and is definitely worth checking out. It premieres worldwide tomorrow and will be available on demand here and you can check out the red-band trailer here.
Also, Chilean girls are really hot. I would totally let a hot Chilean girl make out with me if she was cool about it or whatever.
Good guy and hero Charles Ramsey just received the mandatory internet auto-tune from the Gregory Brothers. Ramsey told the media yesterday that any and all reward money he receives will go to the victims of the kidnapping.
And it’s couched in the middle of a “Between Two Ferns” episode with James Franco. I think this might be the universe’s attempt to answer the question, “How awesome can one video get?”
Maybe eloquently is too high praise, but the kid definitely deserves recognition for intelligently articulating his point in a heated situation, and for actually standing up for learning in a room full of kids. So good on you, kid. Good on you.
For the record, I would not have been this calm.
Take a few minutes from your morning and watch this
Obviously I’m just about the furthest thing in the world from a critic of the internet, but this is certainly some interesting food for thought
That’s what mothers are for : )
