      My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost two years and living together for almost one year. Recently, our relationship became very difficult and I didn’t really know what caused that problem. Until last week, I found out he is totally addictive to thechive.com, and more precisely he has a weird addiction to the chivettes. He talked to them, commenting on the almost-nude pictures, following them on thechive.com. The funniest thing is he has keeping talking to one Chivette named Lauren Gentile on and off for 2 months. On her public blog, he shared his stories with her, giving her advice on where to wear and what pictures to post. With another chivette named Shay Maria, he was trying to “call her out” to talk on thechive.
      I was so disgusted when I see those. I couldn’t believe he would do that. He claimed he loves me as always and defended himself by saying this is not cheating because he never talked to them on the phone or have sex with them at all.
      I don’t know what to do with him and our relationship. He is a nice guy, and yes he never physically cheated on me. I am a graduate student studying and doing research in the university and I am very busy with my school and work. He doesn’t have a lot of hobbies and likes to playing games. I think the lack of a proper hobby might be the reason leading to this. I never ask any questions on yahoo but this time I have to ask for help, because this thing these days making me so crazy and I am feeling lost of the interest of my life. I lost something I’ve been live for and fighting for. What I am more concerned about is whether he would be cheating on me if we get married. Now I feel like so hard to accept him again. I could not even hug him and like to kiss him again when those chivettes faces appearing in my mind.
      Do you guys have any nice suggestion on our relationship? Also, is there anyone out there feeling thechive.com should be listed as 18A? Their contents and the comments on the chivettes just annoy me so much sometimes. More ridiculously they even name everyday in the week with a sex-related name. I feel ppl need to do something about it, but they don’t even have an email to contact the designer….
