I was sent a couple Chiver photos from SAR 26, DET. ONE.
SAR (Sea Combat Squadron) is one of the U.S. Navy’s Search and Rescue units.
Some of the pictures in this post are from the user submit e-mail…and I added a bunch more from other SAR teams.
There are also a few pics from CTG teams (Commander, Task Group)
CTG-56.1 conducts mine countermeasures, explosive ordnance disposal, salvage-diving and force protection operations throughout the U.S. 5th Fleet.
However, I decided to use most of those for a separate Naval “EOD” post.
