It turns out that the solution for the various outbreaks of mosquito-borne viruses all over the world, including Zika, has been right in front of everyone.
The genesis of the idea is simple; mosquitos love to breed in standing water, especially if it’s within old car tires. There’s something about the stale water and old rubber that get’s them going, and laying some eggs. So some Canadian researchers figured, why not use this against them?
