Montreal residents have always maintained that they were living in an affordable city. And they weren’t lying.
A website called Parsehub, took a look at the all the major cities, and determined which would be the best bet for a startup, then they ranked their top 25.
Their focus was to rank startup cities, but their information and math is valid whether or not you’re trying to live economically as an entrepreneur, as a student or just being you. It’s about the bare essentials.
When it comes to the Canadian cities on the list, Montreal came in 9th overall, while Toronto came in 11th and Vancouver, as the most expensive Canadian city, came in at 13th overall.
