When you think of a ghost town, you probably imagine a old Western-y type of town, but not this one. The town of Kitsault, B.C is right on the Canada/Alaska border and is in the middle of nowhere, only accessible by a gravel road, behind a fence. Once upon a time, this was a thriving community with 94 homes, a mall, a hospital, restaurants, a community centre, a movie theatre and all the amenities you’d need to live in the middle the British Columbia wilderness. Everything except people, that is. Thanks to Flickr user Chad, we have a glimpse into the town and it’s creepy.1
