Normally, when you think of the Canadian prairies, you think it’s all just flat fields of wheat, but once upon a time, that was the frontier of Canada, and had a bustling immigrant community at the turn of the 20th century. Over time, people moved on, leaving relics and artifacts of their time behind. Saskatchewan photographer, Ryan Wunsch has taken it upon himself to capture these eerily gorgeous structures and he’s shared it all on his Instagram. What makes his work even more special, are the captions that he puts beneath them; grounding a historical structure into our modern day-to-day world. Check them out!
