Redditor Fioricascastle has recently demonstrated his crafty side by turning an old piano into a glowing wine bar. While perusing Craigslist, he came across an ad asking for someone to remove a piano from their property. Not wanting the ol’ girl to go to waste, he quickly went and picked it up and repurposed the beaten piano into a stellar little wine bar. “Here’s us removing the keys and covers, but kept the keys so that I could use them.” “Grinding the strings off of the harp.” “We installed a support bar for the shelf.” “We decided to make a custom rack for the glasses.” “We ended up felting the back part, as it looked cleaner than the chipped wood.” “Had to cut out some of the back to make room for the bell of the glasses.” “Installing the lights. Multi colored LEDs.” “We also installed custom Glass to fit over the keys.” Finished product!
I never realized the full potential of a piano until I saw this DIY wine bar (30 Photos)
