A couple days ago Imgur user KCN1 shared the story of Stanley, KCN1’s golden retriever who is a little on the slow side. They rescued him 5 years ago when he was 1 year old. In that time he has only learned one trick, “sit,” even though they tried two different professional dog trainers.
Even though he’s not the smartest dog, he is full of love and incredibly gentle. “It only took a few days for us to feel confident that Stanley was not the slightest bit aggressive, or overly rambunctious. He was great with Karma (our other Golden), got along with our cats, gentle and incredibly tolerant with kids, and he absolutely loves to cuddle.” says KCN1.
