King Tut’s Tomb
On November 4th, 1922, Howard Carter discovered the tomb of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings. The tomb, commonly referred to as KV62, was filled with a wide array of wealth- despite being robbed and resealed twice since the burial.
In June of this year, it was discovered that a dagger that was buried with King Tut is made out of an iron meteorite.
The actual mummy was encased in 110.4 kg of pure gold. To top it off, the body itself was adorned by a mask made of solid gold.
