Certain cars are popular no matter where you go in America. But have you ever wondered what car you’d be more likely to see on the roads in each state?
An auto analyst at IHS Automotive wondered, and he figured it out by taking the data of every car sold in America, finding the frequency that each model was sold as a percentage of the total number of cars.
The analyst then did the same thing for each state. After that, he compared each state’s average to the national average, to find out which car each state buys at a higher rate.
