Artist Cindy Chinn, a.k.a. ‘The saw lady,’ has a way with a plasma torch and old gardening tools, like saws, shovels & trowels. Her fixation into this welding world grew over the years as Cindy researched tactics and tips via Youtube and through other professional welders on how to carve and add unique lace designs to the old garden props. A year later, Cindy is now a full-blown ‘Metal Artist.’
You find or purchase all Cindy’s work on Etsy or through her website!
Cindy has added some commentary on all her work so I’ll let her take it away from here…
“The Steampunk Lamplighter Fish (Eating Fish) Saw.
Made from a variety of recycled metal parts and features an old tealight lamp. The eye was made by filling a broken jar bottom with broken beer bottle glass, then melting it in my kiln to 1500 degrees.”
