In today’s world of voxel graphics, HDR lighting and triple buffered v-sync settings the quaint graphics of an era gone by don’t do that much to still impress. But back in the day the leap between 2D sprites and our 3D imaginations were being flirted with intensely by our 16-bit living room machines.
