Since the title announcement last month of the upcoming Star Wars film titled the Last Jedi, fans have speculated as to the meaning of the word Jedi.
Jedi is an unmarked plural, or a word that is spelled the same for both the singular and the plural. So to say “I am a Jedi, and we are all Jedi” is the proper way to refer to oneself as a Jedi and a room full as well.
So, is it a movie about the very last Jedi in the galaxy? Or is it about all of the remaining Jedi in the galaxy?
