Logan is the Wolverine movie we’ve been waiting for. It’s got all the slicing and dicing of the previous Wolverine appearances but with one huge addition: blood (and lots of it). When Logan buries his claws into that first screaming face and brains spray out the back of the baddie’s head, the entire theater blew up.
It’s also got the family element that I dig about the X-Men movies — the older, experienced mutants helping to shape the talents of the young. It’s a must-see, even for people who are sick of superhero movies, because this gritty, even disturbing take on an aging Wolverine is so much more than that.
But before you check it out, here are some facts you need to know about the film and the legend that is Wolverine.
