Getting stabbed in the face, I have been reliably informed, is not a particularly pleasant experience.
Yet it turns out if it was ever going to happen to anyone, Natty Hagood appears to be just the unnaturally chill man for the job.
The 29-year-old ski instructor was on the slopes of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming, when he decided to take a slightly more scenic route through some nearby trees.
“With my experience, you can bash between trees and it’s not that big of a deal,” he later said.
Predictably, it turned out to be a slightly bigger deal. After crashing into the foliage, Hagood lost his balance and went spiralling into the snow.
That’s when it got interesting.
