What began as a clever way to help 2nd-grade students better understand graphs and data-driven results, turned into a survey that reached well beyond one elementary school’s walls in Cayuga, Indiana. In fact, the survey went global.
The simple survey, which was only intended for students and their friends and family, ended up going viral a month ago and garnered a titanic response from 1,278,791 people from all over the world. The quiz, which was put online by 2nd-grade teacher Mrs. Kara Porter, had each student submit one question for the survey, and as you might imagine the topics used were a-damn-dorable.
Below are the questions used and the results from the 2nd-grader’s survey.
