Throughout history, our story has been marked by tragedy and death, on top of all the notable discoveries, technologies and inventions. We, as a species are capable of so many great things, but also capable of a lot of terrible and reprehensible acts. It makes me wonder how we’ve been able to evolve and dominate the earth starting from our days as cavemen, and now we’ve populated the planet pretty well, but what about the times that we’ve subtracted from that number and done some really bad things?
One night, during a dive into the depths of the internet, I came across a question on Quora that asked what the deadliest hour in human history was. I got me wondering about the deadliest second, day, week or month.
Turns out, a lot of things can change in a short amount of time, and it’s kinda terrifying.
