10-year-old Leon Ashworth from Liverpool, England wanted this cuddly stuffed panda bear after he saw it in the store, but his mom couldn’t buy the panda for Leon until her next payday.
So Leon decided to write a heartfelt note on the box.
The note reads:
“My mum [doesn’t] have [enough] money, so she’s [buying] me Pandy [Friday] next week 15 June. So please don’t [buy] him, it will make me cry. Thank you so much from Hopeful [Future] Owner. Panda’s name – Pandy!”
Well the staff as the Asda store saw the note and took matters into their own hands. They invited Leon back to the store to gift him with the toy panda he wanted so badly–all out of cash from their own pockets.
Leon’s mother was overcome with joy that the staff was able to make her son’s day, and she also shared on her Facebook how caring and kind Leon truly is.
People were overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity of the staff at Asda.
What a heartwarming story!
