Every year, I eagerly await the list of movies that will be premiering during the summer, as that’s when studio’s usually reserve their best films. Most years, something great comes out, but a lot of times, I’m left a little disappointed. Nothing seems to thrill me like the summer movies of my youth. Especially the good old days of 1987 – now that was a year for great summer films.
That year, there was a great mix of sci-fi, fantasy, comedy and some pretty sweet moments too, all wrapped up in a perfect 80’s summer. Time to strap on some nostalgia feels and reminisce about the good ol’ days of summer cinema.
