Meet Michelle Liu, a 21-year-old traveller, who has taken what started as a way to entertain her friends to a whole new extreme. ‘Chinning’, the act of taking a photo from an intentionally unattractive angle (the opposite of the infamous ‘high-angle’ selfie), is her way to mock the pervasive narcissism of selfie culture that creeps into every corner of social media. She has taken this ‘artform’ all around the world, posed in front of some the world’s most recognisable landmarks.
Or, it’s just some goofy pictures of someone having fun on social media. You choose.
