At the turn of the century in middle America, life must have been alright, right? I mean, it was a simpler time, less distractions, it was a new century, etc… Except, it turns out that it wasn’t all that different then, as it is now, when it comes to work and getting fired.
In an article/survey published in a 1905 edition of the Chicago Tribune, found on a site called Vintage Stuff, ex-employees shared the reasons why they got fired, and some of them are pretty hilarious.
