It’s always a funny sight to see, when a dog or cat starts going berserk and chases their own tail. You can’t help but wonder “do they not know that they have a tail?” or “Did their tail just scare the shit out of themselves?” Well, the truth is, it’s a little bit different for both cats and dogs. When a dog is chasing his or her tail, it is likely because they are doing it for the sheer entertainment of doing something.
When a cat does it, it’s because they are just going with their natural hunter instinct. They see something move, and they go for it as fast as they can, even if they don’t realize that it’s their own tail right away.
Ever wake up in the middle of the night to a leg or arm that’s completely asleep? Have you then proceeded to try and wake that bitch up without even particularly realizing that you’re doing it because you’re still half asleep? That’s how damn smart our bodies are. When a part of your body falls asleep, you’re actually blocking the nerve pathways within that part of your body, and it’s confusing your brain.
If this goes on for too long, you can actually cause nerve damage. This is why you feel the prickly sensation- it’s your brain telling you that you need to get things fixed otherwise you can cause some real damage to yourself.
Think about it, chickens can be found everywhere. Well, not in Antarctica, but you know. They’re a main source of food for millions upon millions of people all across the globe. Chicken is found on almost every menu in the world. It’s found in almost every supermarket in the world.
So, just how many of these little fuckers are there?! The Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN found that in 2014, there were about 21,000,000,000 chickens on farms across the globe. On farms. Which means that doesn’t take into account all of the loose chickens that run about crossing roads.
Has anyone else noticed that saran wrap just doesn’t cling as well as it used to back in the day? There was a time where you could just fold it over the lip of a bowl and it’d stay for as long as you wanted. Well, it turns out that it did in fact lose its touch.
That is because the CEO of SC Johnson wanted to get rid of the toxic Polyvinylidene Chloride that was found in the saran wrap itself. When he did this, it became obvious that it was the Polyvinylidene Chloride that was making the product so good at what it did. He refused to change it back, so now, it’s just stuck the way it is, no pun intended, boys. No pun intended.
The money that we throw into fountains upon making a wish don’t just sit there, do they? I mean, have you ever seen a fountain filled with so many coins that you couldn’t see the floor of it? The money does in fact end up leaving the fountain. Sometimes, the money that is thrown into public fountains are used to help fund the paychecks that are handed out to the people who clean and maintain the fountains.
Other times, the money is literally just plucked right out of the water by every day citizens. That’s right, people just take money out of public fountains. Thirdly, and perhaps most commonly, the money thrown into public fountains is donated to local charities or businesses to help support local causes.
We’ve all been there, and it sucks. It’s the moment when you crash onto your bed or bathroom floor after a long night of drinking in the hopes of getting some sleep when boom you find that despite you being quite still, the room around you is doing somersaults. Why? why??
Well, it’s because of the semicircular canals within your ears, which are used to help you keep balance. The fluid within the canals rub against tiny hairs in your ears and help your brain calibrate everything around you, and when you drink too much, your blood thins out, causing this whole thing to go bonkers. It makes you think you’re spinning when really you aren’t. All you can do is sleep it off.
