Three young boys have become heroes since saving a suicidal man from jumping off a bridge last September. Devonte Cafferky, 13, Sammy Farah, 14, and Shawn Young, only 12 at the time, were on their way home from school in Hertfordshire when they saw him. The suicidal stranger, who had tied a rope around his neck, was about to jump.
While Shawn called the police, the other two tried to talk him out of it. He passed the boys his phone saying “if it rings, don’t answer it”, and tried to jump. But, the boys grabbed onto him and held him back with all their strength. They said that as he started to pass out, he became heavier and heavier.
