Serial killer Ted Bundy escaped through the library. And then again through his ceiling.
Ted Bundy is one of the most famous serial killers in history. Before he died, he confessed to 30 homicides, but for all we know the number could be much higher. Once he was arrested he in Colorado he began planning his escape, starting with waving a lawyer. Bundy represented himself, and because of this was excused from wearing handcuffs in court. We assume so he could do “lawyer stuff” like bang on tables and make hand gestures.
Once left alone in the courthouse library, Bundy jumped out a second-story window and ran. He was later caught, but escaped again. In prison, he sawed a hole in the ceiling of his cell. It led to the janitor’s apartment, who luckily was out on a date. Bundy put on clothes from the closet and walked out the front door.
