If you know a little bit about Nintendo, then you know that in their earliest days, they weren’t into video games – they were a playing card company. In the 60’s, they started delving into making some toys and had some mild success. Enough, in fact, that they could invest in exploring a new trend – video games.
Over the years, they’ve moved to the forefront of gaming, and had some successes along the way. One of the key things that made Nintendo so notable, is that they knew how to market themselves and sell merchandise – specifically toys. I mean, everyone knows Mario, Pickachu and and Donkey Kong, right?
But, like most things, not everything they made was awesome, and some of the products that came out, are things that only the most die-hard collectors would want in their homes.
