Despite having all the latest consoles and computing power at my fingertips, there’s no beating the feeling of picking up a game that defeated you as a kid, and trying again. I’ve still got a few of my old consoles that have been jerry-rigged to work with my tv, and occasionally like to walk down memory lane with them. Thankfully, I’ve still retained a good selection of fantastic old games.
Thankfully, neither me, or my mom, ever felt the need to give or sell any of my old titles. Because if I had to try to track down some of the best vintage ones, I’d be broke in no time. There are some games so rare, or in such demand, that they cost more money than I’d ever expect to spend on one single cartridge.
But if you do have one of these, can I come over?
