When it comes to game development, building a game based off of an existing property is low-hanging fruit. Usually, it’s a movie that gets a tie-in game, but sometimes, they’ll do the same for a tv show.
In a lot of cases, it’s a waste of time and resources, as they’re glitchy, have a shitty story or just aren’t up to the high standards you were expecting. But other times.. man, they really nail the spirit of the universe.
