Growing up, I was heavily into Sci-fi and would find myself always watching two shows on repeat: Star Trek & Mission: Impossible. What fascinated me the most, was their machines that could make food appear, and make masks and other tools. It completely blew my mind then, when 3D printers were revealed in my lifetime.
While they started off being prohibitively expensive and only making tiny trinkets, now you can pretty much print anything you want, and the stuff they’ve brought to life is pretty mind-blowing.
I want one. A BIG one.
