Welcome to my semi-regular, and mostly spoiler free, movie review post, Ticket or Skip It. This is a little intro about the post, but if you want to skip straight to the review, scroll down to the next image!
Whenever a big movie comes out, or if you guys really want me to check one out, I want to share the average viewer’s opinion of a movie with you. Rotten Tomatoes isn’t an accurate way to gauge wether or not a film is worth seeing, and reviews sometimes look too much into the technical aspects of the film, and not enough about the enjoyment of it.
So this review isn’t giving the movie a rating, but rather a suggestion to you, the viewers. Each movie will get one of the following: Ticket (go see this in theaters), Rent It (pay a little less at home), Stream It (wait until it’s free to watch), or Skip It (you can guess this one).
I’m also going add a few things to each review to keep them interesting. If this is a series, sequel/prequel, or reboot I’ll give a little insight into the history of the movie or franchise. At the end of each review I’ll throw some suggestions for other movies you’ll want to check out that are similar. And more than anything, I just want to talk movies with you guys, so hopefully I’ll be pretty active in the comments.
Sorry for the long intro, after this first post they won’t be as text heavy.
