If there’s one thing that centuries of books, poems, songs and movies have to tell us, is that love is a pretty much the most important thing in life. People die for love, they try to manufacture it, try to force people into it, suffer because of it, and some even wonder if ‘love’ is a real thing or not?
Having had my share of romantic relationships and platonic ones, I know for a fact that love does exist. But it takes different forms for different people. You love a spouse or a SO differently than a close friend, or your kids. Then there are the concepts of ‘loving’ someone vs. being ‘in-love’ with them.
According to a relationship expert, those are two different things, and the distinction is tricky.
