Using info gathered from your online activity — where you live, what you “like”, when you were born — some companies try to sell you t-shirts customized specifically for you. The ads usually appear as a sponsored post on your newsfeed. But the algorithm generating these targeted tees is still a bit… shaky, to say the least. I’m also fairly certain people have started mocking the system by putting oddly specific job titles and interests in their bios. Here are some of my favorite targeted t-shirt fails (to be honest, I would actually buy more than a handful of these).
