It’s kind of sobering to realize that we might just be here and continuously existing by fluke and accident. Had a person pushed the wrong button during the Cold War, or a solar flare/asteroid been a week earlier or later, we’d probably not be here, reading this post on close calls.
It seriously fucks me up.
