As a kid, I saw my fair share of those hokey and gooey kids movies about the power of love, fairness, and adversity. I mean, they were fine, but not something I’d really want to watch over and over again.
But a sports movie aimed at kids, at the peak of my childhood? Now we’re talking. No matter what kinds of adult bullshit I get into now, I can find my purpose in these films.
If the Ducks can fly together, Air Bud can sink 3’s and Michael Jordan can defeat the MonSTARS, then I can handle being a grownup.
